Omar Khan, CFA

Founder & Managing Partner

Omar has advised on $3.7 billion in capital financing and M&A transactions, as well as securing $50+ million in equity from private and institutional capital. He is a graduate from the Rotman School of Business (University of Toronto), and a CFA charter holder with 10+ years of investing experience across real estate and commodities. As the principal of Boardwalk Wealth, Omar is primarily responsible for developing strong relationships with private and institutional investors, brokers, and strategic partners. He has closed on over $450 million of assets across TX, GA, FL, and SD.

Eric Wong, BA, BSc

Director of Investor Relations & Chief of Staff

Eric is responsible for operations and investor relations. He oversees the administration process for acquisitions and equity raises. He also ensures a smooth process for all investors.

Eric previously worked in healthcare leadership as an infection control preventionist. He and his team implemented measures and protocols to prevent the spread of infectious diseases in one of Western Canada’s largest COVID hospitals.

He holds a BA in Psychology and a BSc in Nursing, with an advanced specialty certificate in critical care nursing and has additional education in infection control and epidemiology. He currently resides in Vancouver, BC.

Marilynn Harrison

Financial Controller

Marilynn is the Financial Controller. An accomplished accounting professional with over 25 years of experience in domestic and international accounting, she has worked in the real estate industry for the past 10 years (commercial, residential and property management).

Marilynn is a graduate of the University of Texas at Dallas with a Master’s in Accounting and Information Systems. She is based out of the Dallas/Fort Worth area, and loves animals and reading.

Miles Grade

Director of Asset Management & Acquisitions

Miles is responsible for asset management. He ensures day-to-day and resale optimization of the investment properties, working closely with the individual property managers.

Miles previously worked as the operations manager for a leading gold mining company and as a critical care nurse in the largest pediatric intensive care unit in Western Canada.

He graduated with honors in Biomedical Physiology and Nursing and now resides in Vancouver with his wife and three children.

Sadiya Sarwar

Fundraising

Sadiya is responsible for capital raising and investor relationships, and has 20 years of experience in finance, banking, and real estate.

She has worked as an Associate Vice President with JP Morgan Chase Bank’s Private Client Group in New York, as well as Investor Relations and Fundraising for financial services and commercial real estate firms in Texas.

Sadiya is a graduate of Boston University’s Questrom School of Business. She lives in Dallas, and loves traveling and meeting new people.

Bill Henderson

Managing Director of Capital Formation & Investor Relations

With a proven track record in capital acquisition and distribution, Bill brings extensive experience in private funds across various sectors including energy, real estate, technology, biopharma, and healthcare.

He holds a degree from the Alvarez College of Business at The University of Texas at San Antonio and a Leadership Certificate from the Wharton School of Business.

Kristin Garcia

Asset Manager

Kristin has over a decade of multifamily experience. She has held various leadership positions with prominent real estate firms, including Wehner Multifamily, CREA Management, Portico Property Management, and Greystar Real Estate Partners.

Her diverse experience spans asset repositioning, marketing, budgeting, and operational oversight across multiple Texas markets.

Ross Mann

Chief Technology Officer

A programmer by trade, Ross’s long career has involved development of optimization and simulation software in the gas compression field, as well as a tech startup that specialized in converting paper-based Oil & Gas exploration systems to a digital knowledge base.

He advises and implements on tech solutions and digital security for Boardwalk Wealth.

Brittany Blake

Investor Relations & Transaction Coordinator

Brittany brings over a decade of diverse experience in financial services and client relations, with a solid foundation in banking and lending. She facilitates seamless transactions and provides top-notch customer service. 

Outside of her professional endeavors, Brittany is known for her compassionate nature and commitment to community service.

Rachel Lund

Asset Manager

Rachel brings a strong background in onsite multifamily property management, with a proven track record in driving leasing, improving resident satisfaction, and streamlining operations.

She is passionate about delivering results and focused on building successful communities.

Sean Corbett

Marketing Director

Sean has over two decades of experience in sales, multimedia creation, websites, online project management, copywriting, and marketing.

As a published author and filmmaker, he guides Boardwalk creative and communications. He is also the resident expert in fine wine.
